Privacy policy
Last updated 6 October 2026.
This policy covers janusprivacy.com, the website where you request invitations and reserve Janus One. Janus One the device keeps the data you give it on the device itself; how it handles your data will be described in its own documentation. If you subscribe to Janus Care, Janus One also keeps an encrypted backup of its data on Janus servers, encrypted so that only you, the account holder, can restore it, and remote access passes through Janus relays end-to-end encrypted.
What we collect on this website
- Your name and email address, to confirm your reservation, sign you in and write to you about it.
- Invitation details: which code you joined with, who invited you, and whom you invited, to apply discounts.
- Payment records from Infini: the order, amount, status, network and transaction hash. We never see your wallet’s keys.
- A refund wallet address, only if you cancel and ask for your US$10 back.
- A salted, one-way hash of your IP address, used only to detect people inviting themselves. We don’t store your IP address itself.
- What you choose to tell us when you request an invitation.
What we don’t do
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, we don’t sell or share your data for marketing, and we don’t use it to train AI models.
Cookies
We set one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our forms from bots, may process technical information about your browser to do so.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare: hosting, database, sending and receiving our emails, security and privacy-friendly visitor statistics.
- Infini: processing reservation payments and refunds.
How long we keep it
We keep your reservation details while your reservation is active and for as long as the law requires for payment records afterwards. Waitlist entries are deleted on request or when invitations close.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@janusprivacy.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority.
