- What it is
- A private AI computer for your home. It answers your messages and calls, understands your documents, and works on tasks around the clock.
- Privacy
- Its AI models run on the device. Your messages, documents and memories are processed and stored on Janus One, and never uploaded to be processed. With Janus Care, an encrypted backup is also kept off-site, and only you can restore it.
- What it can do
- Reply to email and messages in your voice, take messenger calls, organise records, research, make pictures and short videos, and pay for small orders within your limits.
- AI models
- Open models with licences that allow commercial use, such as gpt-oss, Qwen, GLM and Mistral for writing, Qwen-Image, FLUX.1 and Z-Image for pictures, Wan for video and Whisper for speech.
- Memory and storage
- 128 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage.
- Price
- US$7,999. Every invitation includes 20% off, so members pay US$6,399.20.
- Reservation
- By invitation, with a US$10 reservation that is refundable and credited to your order. Paid in stablecoins, like the balance.
- Launch
- Orders open once 1,000 Janus One have been reserved, or on 25 December 2026 at the latest. It ships within two months of launch.
- Running costs
- No per-token or usage fees. It draws up to 160 W.
- Warranty
- One year, extended for as long as you subscribe to Janus Care. Accidental damage and fire are not covered.
- Security updates
- Included for every Janus One, with or without Janus Care, and installed on the device.
- Janus Care
- An optional subscription for automatic AI model updates, an extended warranty, an encrypted nightly backup that only you can restore, end-to-end encrypted remote access through Janus relays, and priority help.
- Design
- Designed in Switzerland, for your privacy. Solid walnut and faceted crystal, with a ring of light in the colour you choose.
